We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, you may return products in accordance with applicable legislation and our specific conditions.

1. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Belgian law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the date you receive your order, without having to provide any reason.

2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be returned in its original condition: unused, undamaged, with all original tags and packaging intact.
  • The product must not have been opened (if sealed) or used in any way that affects its value (e.g., cosmetic, food, or hygiene products).
  • Returns must be made within the 14-day withdrawal period mentioned above.

3. Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us: Send an email to contact@detay.be or use our contact form on the website to notify us of your intent to return a product.
  2. Return approval: Once your request is approved, we will provide you with return instructions.
  3. Product packaging: Please return the product in its original packaging, securely packed to avoid any damage during transport.

4. Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is defective or an error occurred on our part (e.g., wrong or damaged item).

5. Refund

Once the returned product is received and inspected, we will issue a refund for the full amount paid for the item. The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, within 14 days of receiving the returned product.

If the returned product does not meet our return conditions (e.g., if it is used or damaged), we reserve the right to refuse the return and deny the refund.

6. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following:

  • Perishable products (food, beverages, etc.).
  • Customized or made-to-order products.
  • Opened or used products that cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons.

7. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us immediately at contact@detay.be or via our contact form. We will provide instructions for returning the item and will offer either an exchange or a full refund, based on your preference.
